The 2004 features a deep garnet-purple hue, with a nose that boasts generous amounts of succulently ripe raspberry ,boysenberry and red currant fruit aromas, as well as notes of sweet pencil lead, touches of mint, cocoa powder, African coffee bean and plum. Great weight and lush mouth-feel along with brimming dark red fruit, milk chocolate and dark spices blossom through the long, powerful finish, giving the palate the same tantalizing intensity as the bouquet. Excellent acidity and well developed tannins combine with the pure fruit to give the Stewart excellent balance and perfect symmetry.
